Partnerships
​Galilee Community Development Corporation (GCDC) partners with various organizations and agencies in the provision of services, programs and activities to positively impact residents of the service area.

Since 2014, the Galilee Community Development Corporation partnered with Galilee Baptist Church and the Suitland Civic Association, Inc. to provide Thanksgiving food baskets for distribution to low to moderate income families. In 2014, 150 Thanksgiving food baskets were prepared and distributed to families in our service area. Each year the distribution has grown. 2015, we provided Thanksgiving meals for 380 families, in addition to donating a dozen baskets to Prince George's County Head Start families. In 2016, 450 families were provided Thanksgiving meals and in 2017, 586 families received Thanksgiving baskets.

In 2015, the GCDC partnered with the Suitland Action Team in support of a community forum on ways to assist persons as they re-enter community life after incarceration.

In 2015, the GCDC partnered with the Prince George's County Area Agency on Aging to provide space and recruited persons to attend the start-up of the Living Well, Take Charge of Your Health Programs:
1) Chronic Disease Self-Management workshop session from April 29 - June 11, 2015
2) Diabetes Self-Management workshop sessions from October 7 - November 5, 2015

On May 14, 2016, the GCDC partnered with the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation and hosted a "Job Seekers and Small Business Summit", which was attended by over150 job seekers and future entrepreneurs.

In January of 2017, the GCDC accepted a senior worker through the Prince George's County Senior Services Program.

In 2017, the GCDC partnered with the Make Smart Cool to offer an after school program for middle school youth.

In the summer of 2018, GCDC became a host site for Prince George's County Summer Youth@Work by accepting three youth to be assigned to GCDC as their work location.
